Dan Kreuter is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gladstone Group Inc., a boutique investment bank that provides comprehensive M&A advisory, talent search, valuation, and strategic consulting services exclusively to the wealth and investment management community. Since establishing Gladstone Group in 2006, Dan has built the firm into a leading advisory practice serving registered investment advisors, wealth managers, and asset managers nationwide.

As Founder and CEO, Dan sets the firm’s vision and strategy, works directly with enterprise clients, and oversees all operational and branding functions. Under his leadership, Gladstone Group has completed over 960 successful M&A transactions, valuations, consultations, and talent searches, guided by the firm’s philosophy of matching great people with great companies, and great companies with each other.

Dan also founded D.A. Kreuter Associates, Inc. (“DAK Associates”), which is now integrated into Gladstone Group as its talent search division. DAK Associates achieved decades of search success with over 2,500 completed executive placements on behalf of the global financial services community, bringing that expertise into Gladstone’s comprehensive service offering.

A consummate entrepreneur, Dan co-founded two successful FinTech businesses: Coates Analytics (now BNY/Mellon Distribution Analytics), which provides productivity software for money managers and advisory platforms; and Gladstone eValuation (sold to Truelytics, later acquired by Envestnet in 2022), a SaaS solution delivering valuation analytics, benchmarking, and business process improvement to the RIA space.
